I bought this netbook for travel. Got the added anamnesis and abstracted optical drive as well. I set up the accomplishment disks, loaded Office, and went off on a six anniversary cruise to Asia. The aboriginal time I acclimated the netbook, I noticed that there was a botheration with the sound. The centralized microphone was consistently “on” and sending allowance and even keyboard sounds to the button speaker, creating acknowledgment and noise. The alone way to stop it was to about-face off the speaker. Plugging in a angle to use Skype appear addition problem. The audio software noticed that an alien mic and headphone were attached. But no complete from the mic got into the computer. I bought addition headset, cerebration there was a botheration with the microphone on my aboriginal headset. Same problem. The Toshiba on-line forums were no help. Many humans complained of the botheration but there were no solutions. I reinstalled the audio drivers. Same problem. I alleged Toshiba and the artisan had me restore the aboriginal operating system. After that 3 hour ordeal, the aboriginal problems were still there. Now Toshiba wants me to acknowledgment the abnormal assemblage to them, at my expense, so they can try to adjustment it. While I was fatigued to this assemblage because of its animation and continued array life, in absoluteness it has angry out to be a big letdown. Toshiba alien me a abnormal netbook but I accept to pay to acknowledgment it to them. This was my additional Toshiba laptop. It will be my last.
